WHERE DO I GET THIS GAME GOD I’M BORED.
App Store - Tiny Tower
We can be tower buddies. I’m not really sure what that would even entail.
Apparently, this game has its own Wiki. I think I’m getting wrapped up in some Farmville-esque parallel universe. http://tinytowerwiki.com/Main_Page

what is this? i am intrigued by it, because of my work boredom.
You build a skyscraper, one excruciating floor at a time (it takes forever to accrue coins, but you do so by ferrying people up the elevator and building businesses). Each floor has residential, goods, or services. Good to add to your...

Things accomplished today:
Mini-road trip/record shopping at PREX with Andrew. Scored about 7 records, 2 DVDs and a t-shirt.
Kohl’s with Mom—got new towels and discovered that I now fit into MEDIUM!? Got some rockin’ sweaters to celebrate.
Cleaned the guinea pig cage & playpen.
Unearthed my LOTR boxed sets for imminent marathon. (Many DVD cases fell on my head in the midst of this mission…)

Three days remain in 2011.
This awful year, coming to a close, finally.
I must finish the Hitchhiker’s series. I must make a list of goals for 2012. I must finish the poem I started the other night. I must lose 0.2 more pounds. I must buy records tomorrow at PREX.
A list of wholly achievable short-term goals.

Readernaut Profile →
I decided to stop being lazy and start tracking my reading again. I made a list of the books I’ve read this year (and updated the link in the sidebar to direct there). If you have a profile there, add away. If you don’t, I recommend it!

Something I forgot about going to the city....
GW Bridge toll - $12
Three hours in a garage - $21
Student admission to the Guggenheim - $15
Gas - ~$5
And I didn’t even eat or drink anything… A fun but expensive evening out with friends that was certainly worth it.
As for why I don’t usually do public transport: since I live on the Jersey side it is really inconvenient. I would have needed a round-trip peak NJ Transit...

I never use reminders or iCal and I really should
Being able to sync my iCal and Contacts to my phone yesterday, without any problems (Android duplicated every entry 6x), was the most weirdly hedonistic release I could imagine.

Teux deux is the best to do list app btw. It’s also browser based
I like Teux Deux and should use it more. I also want to figure out how Calendar tasks integrate with “Reminders”…
Nautics: also check out www.appadvice.com — lots of suggestions, lists, reviews of apps.

what is evernote! i mean i’ve read product descriptions and don’t get it, can you, as a human, explain it?
Okay, so Evernote is a cloud-based service for note taking. If you use the desktop app, online interface, or a mobile app, it will sync and be available in any of the other places. I find it helpful...

what are your favorite apps?
Words with Friends
Tiny Wings
Fruit Ninja
Jetpack Joyride
Delivery Status from Junecloud (syncs with Dashboard widget & iPad)
Instagram
Wegmans (makes my grocery list based on the store layout)
iTV Shows (for tracking what I’ve seen; knowing when a show is airing again; syncs with iPad)
Dropbox

This is the second major holiday
over the course of which I have lost weight. Gettin’ it.
Apple addiction status:
iPhone is amazing
I have more apps than any human should ever need
iTunes Match is currently doing its thing in the background
I can hardly handle the excitement
And we’ve got Genius bar appts this evening to see if we can get the extended AppleCare on our phones…

Do they make that protector for iPad?
You can get the Invisible Shield applied to just about any phone/touchscreen device, including iPad (and I highly recommend it—it has a lifetime warranty). I have a that protector and a neoprene zipper sleeve for my iPad and it’s still pretty mint.
I don’t think either of the iPhone...
